Recently my daughter was applying for a Women In Leadership Scholarship. The essay questions centered around how to empower women in business and how to market to women. Pretty open-ended questions for a senior in high school. As a middle-aged business woman, I have given these topics a lot of thought in my own business plan.
Network marketing - a type of business opportunity that is very popular with people looking for part-time, flexible businesses, a distributor network, a multi-level marketing scheme.
We watched our own moms purchase Avon, Mary Kay, and Tupperware from other women, usually friends of theirs. Normally, the items sold in network marketing are directed towards women. I don’t have any statistics to back this, but women tend to be the main shoppers in a household.
Popular network marketing businesses pushing for success today in the area include Rodan & Fields (skincare), doTerra (essential oils), Pampered Chef (kitchenware), Beachbody (fitness), It Works (nutrition), Scentsy (flameless candles), Premiere (jewelry), and Monat (haircare). As we peruse through Facebook and Twitter, we see numerous posts from people we know selling these products. I know someone that sells each one these products and I would love to refer you to them if you are interested. Why not help a fellow woman in business out?!?!?
So, a referral network… Real estate can benefit greatly from referrals! A good word from someone like you to someone with real estate needs would be a highlight in my day!!! Women need to market women - empower women!!! And, if you are a man reading this, I don’t want to leave you out. I sure would appreciate a referral from you too!!
